Ways to Give

The BUILDING ON EXTRAORDINARY Campaign

Immediate and long-term options

A BOLD YET HUMBLE ASK

Your commitment is a vote of confidence. And for that, we are grateful. We boldly, yet humbly, ask you to consider a gift to transform and inspire our community.

There are many ways to make a charitable gift to the BUILDING ON EXTRAORDINARY Campaign. Tax benefits may be derived from each option, so a gift may be tailored to meet your interest and financial concerns. We recommend that you consult with your personal financial advisor or tax attorney for specific financial or tax guidance. St. Paul VI Catholic High School is a 501c3, non-profit organization, and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

OUTRIGHT GIFTS

Your outright gift of cash, securities, or other liquid assets will be put to immediate use at Paul VI. We offer convenient, secure ways to give.

PLEDGES

Commitments made as pledges can be made over a period of 3 to 5 years and paid annually, quarterly, or monthly. Call us at 703-352-0925 x1110 or download the commitment form to arrange a pledge commitment.

PLANNED GIVING

Your deferred gift benefits you now and provides future support to PVI. The Office of Advancement can help you develop a gift plan that meets your financial and philanthropic goals. You can make a pledge here online, or call us at 703-352-0925 x1110 to discuss which option works best for you.

Wills, Living Trusts, and Bequests

The easiest and most common form of deferred gift is a charitable bequest in your will or living trust.

GIFTS THAT PROVIDE INCOME

A lifetime income gift, such as a charitable gift annuity or charitable remainder trust, can provide you with fixed payments for life. You can receive tax benefits and deductions as well.

CHARITABLE LEAD TRUST

Charitable lead trusts support Paul VI and allow your family to receive the asset with a significantly reduced tax liability.

GIFTS OF RETIREMENT PLANS

When Paul VI is named as a retirement plan beneficiary, whether primary or contingent, estate taxes do not apply. This allows you to give a larger gift than you may have anticipated.

DONOR RECOGNITION

The campaign for the new campus affords donors an attractive range of prominent and meaningful opportunities to link their name, or the name of a family member, honored friend, or faculty member in perpetuity with the life and work of St. Paul VI Catholic High School. We invite all alumni, parents, parents of alumni, grandparents, foundations, corporations, and friends to partner with us by considering permanent naming and recognition opportunities.

Naming opportunities

Gifts of $250,000 and above are afforded a naming opportunity which includes a personal and perpetual naming opportunity displayed on the signage for the space named.
